WWC Pop-up I On-Site Training

WWC PopUp - On-Site Training
Date: 21 June 2019
Time: 2 pm - 4:30 pm
Venue: Center for Contemporary Culture, Main Floor, Hartford Public Library, 500 Main Street, Hartford, CT 06103
Data can be mistaken or manipulated, and doesn’t always tell the whole story. To develop an equitable performance analytics strategy and to bring data into the decision-making process, it’s necessary to ask the right questions and have all the information to contextualize the data and develop strategies to mitigate potential biases. In this workshop, participants will work together to identify common ways biases arise and conduct exercises to hone critical thinking.

At the end of the training, participants will have the ability to:
- Identify bias and its potential implications
- Define different types of bias
- Develop an understanding of how to address bias in the organization

This session will be most useful for middle managers and frontline staff interested in data and analytics
