Problem Articulation and Hand-on Analysis (BAL 009)

Clearly articulated problem statements help teams to better respond to community issues. During this hands-on workshop, you will identify the key components of an effective problem statement through an economic mobility lens. You will gain a deeper understanding of best practices for soliciting community input and using relevant datasets. In collaboration with other participants, you will draft an effective problem statement that can support your department’s mission. Regardless of your organization's current status with the problem it intends to solve, this workshop will offer insight to move the work forward.
